The
Forecaster gives UK investors an idea of how certain sectors are
predicted to perform over the next 12 months.
Forecast
Guidelines:
A
Blue tick like this:
means that the House view for the next 12 months is a positive one
and will rise by 5% or more.
A
Red cross like this:
means
that the House view for the next 12 months is a negative one and
will fall by 5% or more.
A
white square means
that the House view for the next 12 months is neutral and is unlikely
to rise or fall by more than 5%..
A
small white dash means that the House has not produced a view for
the particular sector.
Currency
forecasts:
When
considering investing overseas, it is important to take into account
currency forecasts. In the 3 columns to the far right we have provided
you with a currency forecast which you should take into account
along with the forecast for the relevant geographical sector. If
the forecast for a currency is positive, this indicates that the
£ is likely to depreciate against the respective currency
which will increase the prospective overall returns from the sector.
If the forecast is negative, this indicates the opposite - that
the currency is likely to strengthen against the £, reducing
the overall returns available from the geographical sector.
